3. Demineralized water for the final rinse: this is my secret for a streak-free result. Tap water contains limescale that leaves white deposits. Five liters of demineralized water (€2 at the supermarket) are enough for the final rinse.

4. Dry immediately: I never let water dry naturally. That’s a guarantee of streaks. I dry section by section, right after rinsing.

5. Regular protection: a good wax or ceramic treatment every 3-6 months greatly facilitates subsequent washes. Dirt literally slides off the surface.

Bonus for high-pressure wash stations: I use the “foam” mode first, let it sit for 2-3 minutes, then rinse with “clear water” mode, keeping the wand at a good distance. And to protect and maintain your Tesla’s exterior between full washes, a quick rinse after rain prevents dirt accumulation.
